Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Staff Analyst to support IT applications in a fully remote role with quarterly travel. The position involves planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing healthcare applications including Epic EHR and related modules.

The analyst will gather requirements, configure and test systems, and collaborate with vendors. A Bachelor’s degree and Epic certification/experience are preferred; hours are 40 per week, Monday–Friday, with on-call rotation as

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in information technology, healthcare, business, or related field.
Epic Procedural Orders build experience.
Knowledge of SmartSets, OrderSets, and Panels.
Inpatient Provider workflows.
Preference lists.
Order Composer Config.
Workflow Engine Rule, OTx, and Second Sign Rule.
Interfacing with systems and vendors.

Responsibilities

Provide support and diagnose problems to determine resolution.
Translate requirements into design and development specifications while providing product management.
Configure, test, install, implement, monitor, and maintain systems.
Document and propose workflow changes and technical designs to support business needs.
Collaborate with external vendors for third-party applications including integration/implementation and troubleshooting.
Participate in on-call and command center responsibilities as applicable.
