Job summary
Washington Regional Medical Center is seeking an Application Analyst - Epic Hospital Billing to lead build, testing, and optimization of Epic Resolute Hospital Billing with a focus on Charge Router and charging workflows.
You will partner with Revenue Cycle, Finance, and clinical teams to ensure accurate charge capture, routing, and posting, while supporting upgrades and governance. The role requires Epic certifications and 4+ years in healthcare IT or revenue cycle.
Qualifications
- Epic certification in Charge Router and Hospital Billing is required.
- Minimum four years of experience in healthcare IT, revenue cycle, or related field.
- Experience supporting Epic Hospital Billing, Charge Router, charge capture, revenue integrity, and billing workflows is preferred.
- Excellent problem solving and end-user support skills.
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and optimize Epic Resolute Hospital Billing workflows.
- Configure charging rules and routing logic for accurate charges.
- Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and clinical teams to improve workflows.
- Support upgrades, break/fix activities, and incident response.
- Document changes and maintain governance artifacts.
