Job summary

The Epic Analyst at Onvida Health is responsible for analysis, build, implementation, support, maintenance and coordination of assigned applications, serving as a liaison between vendors, teams, customers and technical staff in a healthcare setting.

This remote position may require onsite work at our Yuma, AZ location, with eligibility reviews for remote work and potential state restrictions; base salary ranges from $95,439.68 to $143,159.51 depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Epic Certification HB Billing required.
• 3+ years of healthcare experience with EHR systems in analytical/implementation roles.

Responsibilities

• Analysis / Build: Participates in analysis, build, testing, documentation and implementation of optimization or projects related to informatics.
• Project Plan / Lead: Project Plan development, maintenance and adherence to expectations and cost constraints.
• Maintenance: Ensure timely completion of routine maintenance for assigned applications; coordinate maintenance development, troubleshooting, and testing activities between teams, departments and/or vendors.
• Change Control / Testing: Ensure smooth transition from build to test to production environments; follow change control policies; utilize and update test scripts; maintain documentation of changes.
• Training: Ensures workflow and software changes are clearly communicated with Trainers and end users; update and provide tip sheets and training content.
• Problem Solving / Support: Demonstrates knowledge, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills; manage incidents and coordinate with vendors; meet service levels.
• Reporting / Dashboards / Data Extract and Exchange: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and data extracts; coordinate with customers to define needs.

Education

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
