Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental assessment and management, preferably within the mining industry.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks relevant to mining.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for mining projects.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans (EMPs) addressing air, water, soil, and biodiversity impacts.
• Monitor environmental performance through site assessments, sampling, and data analysis to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare environmental reports, permit applications, and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with site managers and engineers to integrate environmental considerations into mine planning and operations.
