Bowman is seeking an Environmental Scientist III to join our team remotely. You will lead environmental projects for land development, coordinating with regulatory agencies and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, or related field required at time of employment.
• Master's degree strongly preferred.
• Must have wetland/water delineation experience.
• Registered Professional in Wetland Scientist (PWS) preferred, and/or any other applicable certification.
• Five or more (5+) years of relevant industry-related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or ArcGIS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex field assessments, land use studies, and parkland impact assessments as prescribed by proposals and contracts.
• Conduct fieldwork independently or in a team environment in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Prepare and direct preparation of designs, specifications, plans, estimates and reports for projects.
• Perform project development including scope finalization, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Maintain healthy client relationships and drive projects to deliverables.
• Assist in planning and completing environmental projects and coordinate with agencies.
