Job summary

WSP in the Upper Midwest seeks a Sr. Project Manager / Environmental Remediation Engineer or Scientist to lead complex remediation projects across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and neighboring states.

The role combines technical leadership with client development, staff mentorship, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. The position is based in Madison or Milwaukee with remote work considerations for qualified candidates, and requires strong communication and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 7+ years environmental remediation experience, including at least 4 years of project management experience.
• Experience managing environmental assessment, remediation, and restoration projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and execution of environmental investigation, remediation, and restoration projects.
• Direct site characterization, feasibility studies, remedial designs, and implementation activities.
• Develop strategic project delivery plans, staffing, and budgeting.
• Mentor and develop engineers, geologists, and scientists; foster collaboration and safety.
