American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC) is seeking an Environmental Internship Coordinator for full-time work remotely within the United States. The role supports land grant programs, focusing on internships, budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen environmental sciences education for Tribal Colleges and Universities.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least three years of related experience.
• Understanding AI/AN higher education issues and research with AI/AN communities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit TCU students for internships, fellowships and related experiences.
• Coordinate with TCU faculty on internships and student experiences.
• Assist in program planning and activity implementation.
• Prepare and edit program correspondence and materials.
• Gather and synthesize information for reports and project records.
• Collaborate with Communications on project marketing.
• Serve as contact for program constituents and stakeholders.
• Assist in meetings, events and special projects.
• Help plan, prepare and monitor project budgets and expenditures.
• Supervise student employees, volunteers, interns, and contractors as needed.
• Maintain program records.
• Assist in grant proposal preparation.
