Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior EOSH Specialist to join the FAA’s NISC IV team at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor, NJ.

This on-site role supports the EOSH Section, ANG-E372, focusing on developing, implementing and maintaining occupational safety and health programs to ensure compliance with regulations. The position requires reviewing emergency plans, conducting inspections, delivering EOSH training, and investigating incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety/occupational health with relevant coursework.
• Eight years of relevant experience in OSHA, NEC, NFPA.
• Experience in indoor air quality investigations.
• Experience delivering EOSH training and conducting JHAs.
• Must obtain FAA Public Trust Suitability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain safety programs and policies.
• Review and revise emergency response plans as necessary.
• Conduct emergency evacuation drills.
• Complete tasks using Archibus within time frames.
• Conduct inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Assess risks for chemical exposure, noise, ergonomics, and environment.
• Observe processes to revise or create job hazard analyses.
• Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root cause.
• Maintain OSHA Hazard Communication compliance.
• Develop and deliver safety-related training.
