Job summary

ddms is expanding its Environmental Chemistry Services team and seeks an Environmental Data Validation Chemist to ensure analytical data is defensible and compliant with regulations.

You will oversee multiple projects, collaborate with data analysts, and contribute to data validation SOPs, QA/QC procedures, and client reporting while staying within budget and schedule. You may assist in white papers and help develop automation tools to improve data workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in environmental chemistry.
• Ability to make scientifically defensible decisions with respect to data usability.
• Communicate and discuss custom reporting requirements with data analysts.
• Familiarity with federal, state, or local data validation guidelines (e.g. US EPA).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate data for regulatory compliance and defensibility.
• Manage multiple projects and/or clients.
• Assist in preparing data validation SOPs and internal procedures.
• Draft white papers on technical subjects for clients and colleagues.
