Alignerr is seeking an Environmental Engineering AI Data Trainer to design rigorous environmental engineering challenges and author gold-standard solutions. You will craft problems across contaminant transport, hydraulics, and LCA, and write detailed reference answers for AI training.

This is a remote hourly contract in the United States with flexible weekly hours. The role requires deep environmental engineering expertise and sharp analytical skills, with no prior AI experience necessary.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master's or PhD in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Solid understanding of environmental engineering concepts and domain knowledge.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas in writing.
• Strong attention to unit conversions, chemical equations, and regulatory logic.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced environmental engineering problems spanning contaminant transport, mass balances, hydrology, and LCA.
• Author step-by-step technical solutions with calculations and models.
• Audit AI outputs for technical accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance (EPA, ISO 14001).
• Identify and feedback on AI reasoning errors to improve model performance.
