Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Staff Enterprise Architect for our Cloud Platform Engineering team. This role oversees architecture governance, infrastructure strategy, and engineering enablement to scale our security platform globally.

You will partner with engineering, security, and product leadership to ensure scalable, secure, cost-efficient infrastructure across multi-account AWS environments, IaC, and hybrid connectivity. Remote US-based.

Qualifications

• Proven experience using AI to enhance decision-making and workflows.
• 7+ years in enterprise architecture, cloud platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering with governance leadership.
• Deep hands-on AWS experience: Transit Gateway, VPC, IAM, Network Firewall; Terraform; Kubernetes; GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience building governance programs or architecture review boards at scale.
• Strong cloud networking design and hybrid/on-prem integration experience.
• Experience leading data center exit or cloud migration projects with IaC delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise architecture design and review across infrastructure, platform engineering, security, and integration initiatives.
• Establish and mature architecture review processes and automated governance mechanisms.
• Define and promote reusable IaC blueprints and patterns to reduce sprawl and boost efficiency.
• Design and manage on-prem and multi-region cloud networking architectures including Transit Gateway and hybrid connectivity.
• Lead cloud migration and data center exit programs with collaboration across compliance and security.
• Develop enablement programs for engineering teams adopting cloud-native, IaC-driven operating models.
• Translate architecture decisions into clear, business-aligned recommendations for stakeholders.
