Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Cloud / AI Architect for a remote contract role with a Fortune 100 telecommunications client. You will lead architecture and build enterprise-scale Agentic AI platforms, including RAG frameworks and advanced AI workflows.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in cloud architecture, strong AWS and GCP experience, and excellent ability to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions while guiding production-ready pipelines and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cloud architecture or related technical fields.
• Proven enterprise AI/ML delivery experience.
• Hands-on AWS Agent Core experience with AI pipelines.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Ability to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.
• Cloud experience in AWS and/or GCP.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, vector databases, embeddings.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of Agentic AI solutions.
• Build POC and production AI pipelines using AWS Agent Core.
• Design RAG frameworks for scalable enterprise knowledge retrieval.
• Define standards for AI agents, orchestration, and data integration.
• Evaluate cloud strategies across AWS, GCP, and related tech.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable designs.
• Provide technical leadership while prototyping and delivering solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize AI-driven workflows.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support enterprise adoption through architecture reviews and guidance.
