Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Cloud / AI Architect to lead enterprise-scale AI initiatives on a remote, contract basis. You will architect and implement agent-based AI platforms, with emphasis on RAG, vector databases, and cross-cloud strategies across AWS and GCP.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on prototyping, and collaboration with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions. Remote work and competitive W2 benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years in cloud architecture or AI platforms.
• Experience delivering enterprise AI/ML solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale AI solutions.
• Build POC and production AI pipelines leveraging modern agent-based architectures.
• Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks for knowledge retrieval.
• Define standards for AI agents, orchestration workflows, and data integration.
• Evaluate AWS, GCP, and emerging AI tech for platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership while prototyping and implementing pipelines.
• Identify opportunities for AI-driven process optimization.
• Communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Support enterprise AI adoption via architecture reviews and guidance.
