Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an AI Platform Tech Lead to own a general-purpose enterprise AI ecosystem spanning Slack, Google Workspace, Gemini, Glean, and AI assistants including Claude and ChatGPT. You will design and build AI agents, skills, and RAG integrations with MCP, function calling, and APIs, ensuring secure integrations across enterprise systems.

You will lead engineering efforts, set technical standards, and mentor contributors while delivering production-grade AI capabilities at scale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in development roles with hands-on Tech Lead experience.
• Production-quality AI agents, skills, assistants, workflows or integrations.
• Strong AI application concepts including agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and grounding.
• Experience integrating systems via APIs, SDKs, webhooks, identity services, or automation platforms.
• Knowledge of enterprise security, privacy, compliance, and data governance.
• Hands-on administration of enterprise SaaS, collaboration, search, automation, or AI platforms.
• Experience with Slack, Google Workspace, Gemini for Workspace, Glean, Claude, ChatGPT.
• Systems administration knowledge: IAM, permissions, logging, monitoring, change management.
• Ability to lead technically with influence, not PM authority.
• Upper-intermediate English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain AI agents, skills, prompts, tools, workflows, and automations.
• Build AI solutions using MCP, function calling, APIs, agents, and integration frameworks.
• Translate business needs into technical designs, prototypes, and production-ready AI capabilities.
• Build secure integrations across Slack, Google Workspace, Glean, AI assistants, and enterprise systems.
• Develop APIs, data connectors, webhooks, search integrations, and RAG/semantic-search solutions.
• Ensure AI systems preserve source-system permissions, access controls, data security, and governance.
• Test and evaluate AI solutions for quality, reliability, safety, performance, grounding.
• Administer and optimize enterprise AI platforms: access, configurations, monitoring, lifecycle mgmt.
• Troubleshoot complex AI platform, integration, connector, and data-retrieval issues.
• Establish standards for AI agents, integrations, testing, deployment, and security.
• Lead technical solution reviews, mentor contributors, and act as senior escalation point.
• Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and provide technical recommendations to leadership.
