Job summary

Mercor is seeking board-certified Otolaryngologists (MD or DO) to evaluate health AI models in partnership with a leading AI lab. You will read de-identified patient charts and judge AI answers to otolaryngology questions, ensuring clinical accuracy and safety.

This remote contractor role pays $150 per hour with flexible part-time hours and an immediate start. Applicants must be practicing in the US with appropriate licensure and board certification.

Qualifications

• Clear written communication and close attention to detail are required.
• Active, unrestricted US medical license is needed.
• Board certification in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI answers to otolaryngology questions for clinical accuracy, safety and alignment with current standards of care.
• Check each answer against the patient chart and decide which of two responses is stronger.
• Write structured rationales on clinical rigor, completeness and clarity.
• Flag errors that could compromise patient safety.
