Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from wherever you are. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, score exchanges, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

As part of Outlier’s evaluation loop, your work helps shape how advanced AI systems reason and improve, turning frontier research into real-world performance. Earn up to $18/hr with additional incentives and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in on content.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and describing reasoning.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Capable of making clear decisions when two options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness and usefulness.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot issues like distortions, flickering, or misalignment, and explaining findings in writing.
• Rating outputs on adherence, quality and realism and providing a written explanation.
