Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. seeks an Engineering Technology Lead - Plant Utilities to oversee and optimize plant utility systems across facilities in North America. This senior, remote role requires independent work and close collaboration with EHS to ensure OSHA and NFPA 70E compliance.

You will lead capital projects, mentor maintenance teams, and present funding to senior management while traveling 50-75% to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in engineering and maintenance with heavy plant infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of Arc Flash regulations, NFPA 70E and OSHA standards for plant utilities.
• Experience managing large-scale capital projects ($1M+) and working with third-party engineering firms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for all manufacturing utility systems across facilities.
• Design, audit, and optimize plant infrastructure for reliability and energy efficiency.
• Lead electrical infrastructure strategy and Arc Flash safety programs across sites.
• Audit plant systems to identify gaps, risks, and modernization opportunities.
• Develop projects from inception to capital approval and present ROI cases to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E, and collaborate with EHS teams.
• Mentor maintenance and engineering staff and train operators on plant utilities.
