Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an Engineering Team Lead (SDET) based in the United States. The role leads quality engineering, test automation, release engineering, and enablement for a large-scale financial services platform.

You will design scalable automation frameworks, strengthen testing strategies, and improve CI/CD pipelines, while mentoring teams and driving high-impact solutions in a consulting environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on test automation.
• 2+ years in a Engineering Team Lead role with Agile delivery leadership.
• Strong programming in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Proven ability to design and maintain automation frameworks for APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Claude.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD, SQL, and modern architectures.
• Ability to manage complex test data and legacy integrations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile team execution, sprint planning, and continual improvement.
• Architect and maintain reusable test automation frameworks.
• Design comprehensive testing strategies across API, integration, and performance tests.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to boost productivity and testing capabilities.
• Manage test data across interconnected systems and environments.
• Coordinate testing, release validation, and legacy integrations.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and quality gates for reliable releases.
• Mentor engineers and promote maintainable code and best practices.
