Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group seeks an Engineering Manager to lead technical delivery on major transportation projects, including rail and light rail initiatives. You will oversee design packages, coordinate cross-discipline teams, and manage budgets to meet schedule and cost goals.

The role involves acting as Contractor's Engineering Manager on diverse projects, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and supporting growth in the engineering management workbank across markets.

Qualifications

• Proven Engineering Management delivery of multi-disciplinary railway and/or light rail projects.
• Experience leading design packages for rail/rail projects through full lifecycle.
• Strong background in coordinating cross-discipline interfaces and design activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for major transportation projects.
• Lead preparation of engineering design packages across rail and light rail domains.
• Manage engineering budget and programme to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Act as Contractor's Engineering Manager (CEM) on selected projects.
• Lead compliance with CSM/CDM requirements and safety standards.
• Build and manage cohesive design teams across local, national and international resources.
• Develop client relationships and coordinate multi-discipline interfaces for successful project delivery.
• Prepare pre-qualification responses, proposals and tenders.
