Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Flex product team. You will lead the Flex Billing & Backend engineers to own and extend the feature set for customers, delivering a scalable, always-available solution in a remote-first environment.

You will manage architecture, drive agile processes, and ensure smooth operation of 24x7 services. Strong communication and end-to-end ownership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience with 5+ years leading software teams.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams within the team.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and programming languages Java/Go.
• Familiarity with agile processes, CI/CD, automation, and observability tools.

• Understand architecture to build and operate scalable distributed systems in cloud environments.
• Advocate for agile processes, CI and test automation.
• Take ownership from conception through 24x7 operation and monitoring.
