Leidos Energy is seeking an Energy Market Analyst to join a growing North American power market consulting practice. The role supports independent power producers and electric utilities with energy price forecasting, market analysis, asset valuation, and strategic market advisory services.

The position can be fully remote with proximity to Washington DC, Denver, or Boston. Requires strong knowledge of US regional power markets and experience with market simulation tools; excellent communication

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of major US regional power markets.
• Proficiency with market simulation tools such as Aurora or ProMod.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to present to clients.

Responsibilities

• Support asset and portfolio market projections and valuations.
• Conduct market research and modeling of power generation assets and portfolios.
• Develop new approaches to evaluating emerging issues in the North American energy sector.
