Morph Enterprise in Albany, NY, is seeking a Project Manager to support the Energy Infrastructure Development Plan modeling work. The role involves leading a team of consultants to build a nodal production cost model for New York State, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

You will translate zonal results into the nodal model, engage with utilities and agencies to socialize tools, and support other electric system modeling needs within the EIDP process.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric system modeling, including capacity expansion and production cost modeling.
• Ability to develop inputs needed to simulate NY electric markets, e.g. infrastructure representation, resource operating profiles
• Understanding of energy markets concepts and NY energy system
• Excellent project management experience and analytic attention to detail
• Ability to communicate modeling results to the public and key stakeholders at agencies, utilities, and interest groups
• Understanding of electric infrastructure options needed to alleviate congestion

Responsabilités

• Manage a team of consultants working to develop a nodal production cost model for NYS.
• Manage timelines and budgets, ensuring high quality work products.
• Work with consultants to accurately represent NY market operations within the production cost model.
• Help translate zonal capacity expansion results into the nodal production cost model.
• Engage with stakeholders at utilities and sister agencies to socialize tools, processes, and results.
• Support the execution of the Energy Infrastructure Development Plan and other modeling needs.
