Job summary

SITSD is seeking an Endpoint Administrator to lead desktop services for the State of Montana. You will diagnose complex endpoint issues, mentor staff, and collaborate with IT teams and vendors to improve reliability and security of enterprise desktop solutions.

Prepare and deploy updates, document changes, and communicate risks and progress in plain language to nontechnical stakeholders. Telework is allowed with some in-office days in Helena, MT.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in an IT field; AND Two years of desktop support experience; OR alternate combinations will be considered.
• Advanced troubleshooting methods for endpoint, desktop, application, hardware, software, connectivity, and customer-impacting issues.
• Ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and update desktop hardware, OS, software, and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Tier II Desktop Support staff and other IT teams.
• Solve complex endpoint and desktop-service problems and guide modernization initiatives.
• Plan, test, deploy, document, and support enterprise desktop service changes.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and agency customers to improve service quality.
