Job summary

TeleMed2U is seeking an experienced Virtual Endocrinology Physician Assistant to join a growing telehealth practice. This fully remote role focuses on evaluation, diagnosis, and management of endocrine conditions via video visits, with CA regulations guiding collaboration with supervising physicians.

The candidate should have a CA license, 2+ years in endocrinology, and be proficient in telemedicine and EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• CA Licensed Physician Assistant in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of Endocrinology experience in outpatient or telehealth settings.
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
• Comfortable practicing autonomously in a remote care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual outpatient care to adult patients with endocrine and metabolic conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via video visits.
• Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians as required by CA regulations.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Provide patient education and counseling focused on lifestyle, medication adherence, and disease management.
• Document clinical encounters accurately and timely in the EMR.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and refer patients as clinically appropriate.
• Adhere to all telehealth best practices, clinical protocols, and compliance requirements.
