Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking an EMS Inspector to conduct onsite inspections of EMS agencies and training entities, assessing compliance with Missouri EMS laws, rules, licensure requirements, and operational standards. The role includes travel across the state and remote work when not inspecting facilities.

This position emphasizes independence, accurate reporting, and ongoing knowledge of Missouri EMS statutes and NREMT requirements to ensure high-quality EMS services statewide.

Qualifications

• Three years of active EMS field experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management and reliability.
• Knowledge of Missouri EMS licensing requirements and driving eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite inspections of EMS agencies and training entities for compliance.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance on compliance requirements.
• Monitor corrective actions and ensure deficiencies are addressed on time.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain documentation in OMS/ELite systems.
