Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an EMR/EHR Application Support Manager for remote engagement across the United States. You will lead production support, oversee incident management, and drive continuous improvement of clinical applications, partnering with clinicians and vendors.

The role emphasizes mentoring analysts, establishing SLAs, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering stable, high-quality application support for Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, and other platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, health informatics, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years supporting EMR/EHR or healthcare apps.
• 2+ years leading or supervising support teams.
• Strong incident management and service delivery experience.
• Experience with SQL databases and healthcare workflows.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Application Support Analysts and manage daily operations.
• Establish SLAs, support metrics, on-call schedules, and incident response.
• Develop support processes, knowledge articles, and SOPs.
• Oversee EMR/EHR platforms like Epic, Cerner, NextGen, eClinicalWorks, Meditech.
• Coordinate upgrades, releases, go-live activities, and outages.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory documentation.
