Job Juncture seeks an Associate Attorney / Of Counsel in Employment Litigation to work remotely for a nationally recognized labor and employment law firm. The candidate will defend employers in a broad range of matters and interact with senior attorneys.

This role offers substantial responsibility, meaningful client contact, and collaboration with a team of accomplished employment litigators. Required qualifications include a California Bar admission, a top-tier JD, and 4+ years of California

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
• 4+ years of substantive California employment litigation experience (associate level).
• For Of Counsel, 9+ years of relevant California employment litigation experience and first-chair capabilities.
• Experience defending employers in employment litigation across discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-hour, and related claims.
• Experience representing employers in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and agency matters.
• Class Action and/or PAGA experience preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of California and federal employment laws and procedures.
• Ability to independently manage litigation from inception through resolution.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters and agency proceedings.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Represent employers before state and federal administrative agencies.
• Advise and counsel employers on employment law compliance and workplace issues.
• Conduct management training on employment and labor law topics.
• Handle matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, employment torts, contract claims, non-compete issues, and class or representative actions.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices and practice areas to provide strategic, business-oriented legal counsel to clients.
