Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
• 4+ years of substantive California employment litigation experience (Associate level).
• Of Counsel candidates should have 9+ years of relevant California employment litigation experience and first-chair capabilities.
• Experience defending employers in employment litigation matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour claims.
• Experience representing employers in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and agency matters.

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters and agency proceedings.
• Handle all aspects of litigation including strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trial prep.
• Represent employers before state and federal administrative agencies.
• Advise employers on employment law compliance and workplace issues.
• Conduct management training on employment and labor law topics.
• Handle discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage/hour disputes, and related claims.
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices to provide strategic legal counsel.
