Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Regulatory Emergency Management professional to lead preparedness and disaster planning. Remote position with up to 30% travel within the Florida market, reporting to the Regulatory department.

The role requires coordinating drills with local officials, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements. Leadership experience and healthcare familiarity are preferred, with opportunities for growth within Ascension.

Qualifications

• Certification in emergency management and regulatory compliance.
• Relevant hospital emergency preparedness experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead drills and coordinate with local officials.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead emergency preparedness and disaster planning activities.
• Design and implement department training on emergency preparedness.
• Facilitate drills with local emergency services and liaise with officials during disasters.
• Coordinate capital and operating budget requirements.
• Maintain the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and reporting, drills, and hazard analyses.
