Job summary

Advanced Navigation seeks a Navigation Solutions Architect – EMEA to design and validate technical solutions for major EMEA customers, leveraging the full Advanced Navigation portfolio. This remote role requires travel >30% to customer sites, with a focus on defence and commercial markets.

You will partner with Sales, Product and Engineering to map customer needs to Advanced Navigation capabilities and provide technical direction to Forward Deployed Engineers across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred) or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven depth of experience spanning Sales, Mechatronics, SWE, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
• Solid knowledge of inertial navigation systems, GNSS, fibre optic gyroscopes, Laser and Acoustic Velocity aiding.
• Familiarity with UK/European export control regimes; ITAR/EAR knowledge beneficial for US-origin tech.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate navigation system architectures and configurations for client missions.
• Lead proof-of-concept projects to validate feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Act as primary technical authority for EMEA sales teams on complex system integration.
• Provide technical mentorship to Forward Deployed Engineers and contribute to product roadmap.
• Engage with Tier-0 clients through technical workshops and deep-dive sessions.
