Job summary

Advanced Navigation in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer focused on Geospatial Navigation to drive pre-sales success. You will assess customer requirements, design tailored GNSS/INS solutions, and lead PoCs and product demonstrations for technical and executive audiences.

You will collaborate with field sales, product management, and engineering, translate feedback into roadmap input, and occasionally travel to client sites or trade shows while ensuring HSE compliance and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical sales experience.
• Working knowledge of GNSS, INS, cloud computing, networking, and sensor integration concepts.
• Willing to travel nationally (and occasionally internationally) up to 25% and be a U.S. Person per ITAR/EAR requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate complex engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Consult with prospects to evaluate technical requirements and geospatial needs.
• Architect customized hardware and software proposals leveraging GNSS and INS.
• Deliver technical presentations and live product demonstrations to technical and executive audiences.
• Lead PoC projects to validate feasibility and performance in real-world environments.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate customer feedback into roadmap input.
• Partner with sales to address inquiries, overcome objections, and accelerate the sales cycle.
• Travel to client sites, field test sites, or trade shows as needed to support engagements.
