Job summary

Cimarron Software Services, Inc. is seeking Flight Software Developers to join a key team supporting a human spaceflight program. The role is fully remote with occasional travel; Centennial, CO proximity is preferred for occasional in-person meetings and lab access.

You will work on flight software development, testing, and verification within an Agile team, collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement robust software for launch vehicles and embedded systems.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizens or permanent residents eligible for consideration.
• Valid Real ID-compliant driver license or state ID required at hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check, breathalyzer, and drug screening.
• 5+ years with C++, Python, embedded systems, and Linux-based OS.
• Experience with object-oriented design and automated tests.
• Knowledge of requirements analysis, systems engineering, and software integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and modify flight software for launch vehicles and human spaceflight.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment to support design, implementation, testing, and verification.
• Guide software solutions with stakeholders and write unit tests.
• Conduct peer reviews and develop/execute integration tests.
• Support hardware/software integration and hardware-in-the-loop simulations.
