Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Pearson English Language Learning Sales Representative to drive revenue growth in a remote, field-based role with about 65% travel. Based in Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, or DC area, you will prospect, develop new accounts, and present Pearson’s digital and print ELL solutions to educators and institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in adult or higher education or related market.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, CRM applications, and mobile technologies.
• Willingness to travel 3–4 days per week and attend regional/national events.
• Residence in MD, NC, or VA; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Engage 15+ faculty members or decision-makers daily through a mix of in-person and virtual outreach.
• Proactively prospect and pursue new business opportunities with a hunter mindset.
• Strategically plan and manage territory and accounts to drive revenue growth.
• Present, sell, and negotiate Pearson’s ELL solutions in virtual and face-to-face settings.
• Deliver product demonstrations, onboarding, and training to support long-term adoption.
• Manage pipeline and forecast in Salesforce (OneCRM); stay current on Pearson products and trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with educators, administrators, and bookstore partners.
