Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking an English Language Learner (ELL) Teacher to support AZ Virtual Academy (AZVA) remotely as part of the K-12 ELL program. The role involves program administration, professional support, and family services while ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.

The position is remote full-time with typical hours 9-5 or 8-4. Arizona residency is strongly preferred and some travel for PDs and testing is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree and an active state teaching license.
• Arizona SEI Endorsement or ability to obtain one is required.
• Ability to clear the background check and work with families and teachers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous ELL instruction for K-12 students.
• Personalize learning and differentiate instruction to meet student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to analyze student data and drive decisions.
• Support families and learning coaches within a virtual classroom.
• Travel about 20% for PDs and student testing as required.
