Job summary

ORC in Ohio is seeking Utilities Agent levels 1–3 to acquire right-of-way rights for energy projects, support the project team, and conduct property research. This role combines office tasks with field work and frequent communication with landowners.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years in right-of-way, are organized, detail-oriented, proficient with MS Office, possess a valid driver's license, and can obtain an Ohio Notary within 60 days. Travel is extensive.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for landowner and client interactions.
• Proficiency with MS Office and willingness to learn ORC systems.

Responsibilities

• Acquire right-of-way rights for distribution and electrical transmission line projects according to guidelines and regulations.
• Support the Project Manager and project team members.
• Conduct property research for ownership and boundary information.
• Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding right of way acquisition.
• Perform general administrative tasks that keep projects moving.
