Job summary

Comcast Advertising is seeking a strong Test Automation Engineer to contribute to the RDK Operations team, transforming automated testing for CPE devices. You will develop frameworks in Java with Selenium/TestNG, manage dependencies with Maven, and implement CI/CD pipelines.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Two years of experience developing test automation frameworks and scripts in Java using Selenium and TestNG.
• Experience setting up and configuring project dependencies and building Java applications with Maven.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and SVN for version control.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Concourse.
• Experience using REST and SOAP web services to communicate between systems.
• Experience with task management tools (JIRA, ALM, Confluence).
• Experience managing databases (MongoDB, MySQL) and deploying services with Kubernetes.
• Experience using Docker for containerization and monitoring tools like Grafana/Prometheus.
• One year minimum designing and implementing test frameworks with Python, Shell, and Bash scripting; working with MySQL/ELK; Docker.

• Develop test automation frameworks and scripts in Java using Selenium and TestNG
• Set up and configure project dependencies, and build and package Java applications within the automation framework using Maven
• Use Git, GitHub, and SVN for version control
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Concourse
• Design and implement test frameworks using Python, Shell, and Bash Scripting
• Use REST and SOAP web services to communicate between systems
• Use JIRA, ALM, and Confluence for task management
• Manage databases using MySQL, ELK, and MongoDB
• Develop and deploy scalable services using Kubernetes
• Leverage Docker for containerization of test frameworks
• Perform application monitoring and alerting using Grafana and Prometheus
