Job summary

Comcast’s Technology + Product organization seeks an experienced SDET to build and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile apps. You will ensure quality by executing tests, reporting defects, and collaborating with engineers to refine testing strategies.

The role emphasizes hands-on test design, automation in WebdriverIO and Selenium, API testing with Postman or Bruno, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines to accelerate releases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Postman or Bruno.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end manual testing for iOS and web applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using WebdriverIO.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to define test strategies.
• Identify, log, and track defects through resolution with clear documentation.
• Participate in test planning, test case design, and execution activities.
• Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and frameworks.
• Support automation integration into CI/CD pipelines for faster releases.
• Analyze test results and report quality metrics and risks.
• Continuously improve knowledge of testing tools, frameworks, and best practices.
