Job summary

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Northwest in Kitsap, WA seeks a Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer/Architect to lead ROICC activities. You will review entitlement changes, interpret contract clauses, and ensure technical compliance of plans and specifications.

Applicants should have a professional engineering degree or PE/EI/EIT licensure and architecture qualifications per OPM standards.

Qualifications

• Professional engineering degree or licensure as EI/EIT/PE.
• ABET-accredited engineering program or equivalent coursework in core engineering subjects.
• Education demonstrating knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Architecture-related education: degree in architecture or related field with specified coursework.
• Alternate combination of education and professional experience in architecture.

Responsibilities

• Assist ROICC leadership in reviews and approval of contractor entitlement changes via contract clauses and plans/specifications interpretation.

EI/EIT or PE licensure

Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field

60 credit hours in architecture-related coursework

Mastery of engineering science topics (statics, dynamics, etc.)
