Job summary

Endurion seeks a General Engineer/Architect to join our team in the JEB Little Creek-Ft. Story, VA area. You will investigate, analyze, and determine design requirements and contribute to planning, design, and construction of NSW facilities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture, 8+ years of experience, NAVFAC standards familiarity, and a Secret clearance. This is a full-time, on-site position with health benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture; advanced degree/PE or RA is highly desirable.
• Minimum 8 years in engineering or architecture; 8+ years delivering technical facility design/construction.
• At least 4 years’ NAVFAC standards experience; familiarity with shore facilities contracts.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze, and determine requirements and design considerations.
• Prepare design criteria, detailed designs, specifications, cost estimates, and operating instructions.
• Serve as expert consultant for planning, design, and construction of NSW facilities.
• Coordinate project design/construction and monitor timelines.
• Review and manage architectural/engineering contracts for maintenance or new projects.
• Lead in conferences with outside agencies to ensure scope of work is met.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture

Advanced degree

Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA)
