Job summary

Buncombe County Government seeks a Reappraisal Analyst to ensure fair, accurate property valuations. You will analyze complex datasets, refine data models, and validate parcel and sales data to support annual revaluations.

The role requires a statistics/analytics background, 3+ years' related experience, and collaboration with appraisers to maintain consistent assessments throughout the revaluation cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Three years of real estate, construction, GIS, analytics, or appraisal experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and market value assessments to support property valuations.
• Review parcel and sales data for validation and ensure assessments reflect current market conditions.
• Assist in development of valuation models and analytical reports.
