Qualifications

• Two years as a Regulatory Enforcement Inspector; five years of investigative experience; one year of investigative experience and a bachelor's degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that included one year of investigative experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigations into allegations of violations of standards, laws, rules, and regulations.
• Perform inspections to determine compliance across assigned areas.
• Collect facts, interview persons, review complaints, and organize findings into clear reports.
• Maintain confidentiality for interview subjects, evidence locations, and sensitive information.
• Read and apply laws, rules, and regulations relevant to state boards and commissions.
• Testify in formal or informal hearings and appear as a witness in judicial proceedings.
