Job summary

Lockheed MartinVentures (LMV) is seeking an energetic Portfolio Manager to bridge Lockheed Martin and our portfolio companies, shaping roadmaps and investment plans while integrating portfolio ventures into the LMV ecosystem.

You will partner with internal technology and product teams, business areas, and portfolio companies to drive high‑impact opportunities and align on transition initiatives, with travel as needed and eligibility for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in engineering, computer science, or related discipline with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and build deep, trusted relationships with internal and external teams.
• Strong analytical expertise with the ability to synthesize complex performance data into executive‑level narratives.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to deliver concise, decision‑oriented briefings.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally; eligible for security clearance (Secret or higher).

Responsibilities

• Develop stakeholder relationships by turning emerging technology trends into insights that shape internal roadmaps and due‑diligence for investments.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with portfolio companies and guide founders to align with LMV ecosystem goals.
• Execute a scalable engagement framework; gather updates, track performance metrics, and surface trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Manage the LMV R&D risk‑reduction and integration pipeline; set objectives and prioritize funding requests.
• Partner with stakeholders and investment managers to synthesize KPIs into actionable recommendations for future investments.
• Deliver timely communications and briefings to senior management with portfolio performance insights.
• Represent LMV in internal and external forums and expand partnerships and collaborations.
