Job summary

Onco360 Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Prior Authorization Specialist in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time role offers starting pay at $23.00/hr with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for employees starting before October 31, 2026.

This position may work remotely if registered with the State of Indiana Board of Pharmacy. You will manage prior authorization requests, communicate with insurers, physicians, and patients, and ensure HIPAA compliance while documenting all authorizations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of pharmacy or prior authorization experience.
• Pharmacy Technician license/registration with Board of Pharmacy, as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Manage prior authorization requests and appeals with insurance carriers.
• Receive prescriptions and address rejected claims and third party authorizations.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other departments.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information.
• Monitor and renew expiring authorizations proactively.
