Job summary

PharMerica in Vancouver, WA is hiring full-time Customer Service Pharmacy Technicians to enter and process medication orders, supporting pharmacists and operations. This role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with pharmacy regulations, and efficient, high-volume workflow.

Remote work is available after a successful 180-day training period, contingent on performance metrics. This position offers growth within PharMerica’s long-term care and senior living pharmacy teams.

Qualifications

• Washington State Pharmacy Assistant registration is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Healthcare/pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Good oral communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer and submit inquiries regarding patient information and medication therapies.
• Take requests for refill orders, out on pass, discharge orders, and special delivery requests.
• Assist the pharmacist with facility and physician office communications.
• Obtain patient information for our database by calling patient care representatives and physician offices.
• Use judgement in knowing when to escalate issues to management.
• Utilize Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Complete assigned projects promptly.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
