Job summary

Cedar South Corp. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure across servers, routers, switches, and security appliances for renewable energy projects.

You will troubleshoot issues, collaborate with IT and software teams, and stay current with networking trends. A bachelor's in CS/IT plus strong TCP/IP, VPN, cloud skills are required; remote options may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience in design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with multi-vendor network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto).
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

• Participate in on-call rotations to address critical issues.
• Conduct regular network audits for security and compliance.
