Job summary

The position is full-time, telework-eligible with initial on-site days at the Warsaw campus, and a hiring range of $77,000–$84,000, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Considerable previous experience in communications, marketing or a related field.
• Working knowledge of website development, measurement and analytics, content management, digital marketing and internet technology, such as paid and targeted online media tactics (e.g., AEO, geofencing, retargeting, social media advertising, and Google Ads)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience developing customized marketing and communications solutions based on the needs of diverse stakeholders such as prospective students, campus departments, and institutional leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated integrity and reliability.
• Must be able to travel within the service region for events as needed.
• Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all print and digital marketing projects for internal and external college clients.
• Provide timely and accurate information about RCC’s programs, activities, services, and achievements to local, statewide, and national audiences.
• Manage media, communications and public relations projects to promote RCC’s mission and values.
• Collaborate with senior administration and deans to ensure consistency with strategy across units.
• Assist leadership in responding to escalating media inquiries.
• Oversee paid media campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop content with the Multi-Media Specialist for web and social media.
• Write engaging content promoting RCC programs, services, and people for published media.
