Job summary

KNAPP is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support HR activities in Kennesaw, GA. This full-time role partners with business leaders to drive engagement, design organizational structure, manage employee relations, and ensure policy compliance across manufacturing and distribution sites.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's in HR, 5+ years of HR experience, and knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and SAP SuccessFactors. SHRM-CP/PHR is highly desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related business degree or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 1 year working with distributing or manufacturing sites.
• SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR highly desired.
• Strong understanding of Labor Laws (State & Federal), with California and Canadian employment law experience valued.
• Ability to build relationships and influence across multiple operations.
• Self-motivated with ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Detail oriented with high reliability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with HRIS systems (ADP/WFM and SAP SuccessFactors) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Understand business and people issues within assigned units and act accordingly.
• Collaborate with business leaders on organizational design and HR initiatives.
• Drive engagement, culture, and retention in their areas.
• Ensure HR policies are consistently applied within units.
• Support recruitment strategies to staff business units.
• Mentor and develop junior staff members.
• Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws.
• Develop and conduct HR trainings.
