Job summary

Savant Bio, a NYC-based health-tech company, is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer with a strong frontend focus to own and improve user-facing surfaces. You’ll translate complex clinical workflows into clear interfaces and contribute to backend services.

Remote-eligible with a preference for candidates who can come to NYC. You’ll shape frontend architecture, interaction patterns, and product polish while collaborating with product, clinical, AI, and backend teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent production work
• Strong TypeScript, HTML, and CSS skills
• Experience building modern, component-based web applications
• Working knowledge of APIs, backend services, data persistence, and asynchronous application patterns

Responsibilities

• Turn complex clinical-research workflows into clear, approachable product experiences
• Develop reusable frontend components and establish consistent interaction patterns across the product
• Improve application responsiveness, accessibility, reliability, and perceived performance
• Design stateful and asynchronous workflows using Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, queues, and related patterns
• Build and extend APIs and backend services that support product functionality
• Implement real-time progress, background-job, notification, and collaboration experiences
• Improve frontend testing, observability, release processes, and error handling
• Participate in customer feedback sessions and use what you learn to improve the product
• Help define a high bar for product quality, usability, and visual polish
