Job summary

State of Tennessee is seeking a Field Services Technical Coordinator 1 to support Project Teams and Regional Operations in reviewing and finalizing records for the Materials Certification program. You will assist with material tracking, sampling, testing, and reporting to ensure compliance with TDOT standards.

The role requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 years of related experience, or an education equivalent with 5 years in related discipline.

Qualifications

• Education and experience as described: 3 years in a related technical discipline with degree, or 5 years with high school plus related work.
• Possession or potential to obtain Class D driver’s license may be required for some positions.
• A CDL with N endorsement may be required within 11 months for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Review and finalize projects to support Materials Certification in TDOT deliveries.
• Assist project teams with material tracking, sampling, testing, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state policies and TDOT procedures in records finalization.
• Mentor TDOT staff and collaborate across regions to maintain high quality records.
• Provide customer service to internal/external stakeholders and ensure timely communications.
