J.R. & Co., Inc. in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an Architectural Sheet Metal Estimator to evaluate exterior building envelopes, including cladding systems, sheet metal, ACM panels, and rain screens.

This role develops detailed estimates covering labor, materials, fabrication, and related assemblies for commercial construction projects. You will review drawings, provide value engineering, conduct site evaluations, and maintain current market pricing while negotiating with suppliers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years estimating architectural cladding or building envelope projects.
• 5+ years in commercial construction, exterior envelope preferred.
• Experience with ACM, IMP, metal panels, and rain screen assemblies preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification and valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, shop drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for architectural cladding and façade systems.
• Develop cost breakdowns covering labor, materials, equipment, fabrication and risk.
• Review drawings, specifications and manufacturer requirements for accuracy.
• Provide value engineering and pricing strategies aligned with client needs.
• Conduct site evaluations and risk analysis; participate in meetings.
• Maintain current market pricing and negotiate with suppliers and fabricators.
